From the very beginning Mary-Ann was incredibly flexible, responsive
and approachable over message.
On the day, she was incredibly welcoming and put us all at ease right away. She was brilliant with Barnaby and we were comfortable with the care and attention she showed him getting him into poses and settling him when he needed settling. Feeding wasn’t an issue and she allowed time for this and was understanding.
the whole experience was personalised, relaxed and overall just great - thank you! The turn around of photos was quick and she has been great at communicating.
Absolutely in love with our photos - Mary-Ann captured so many beautiful, natural photos with great attention to detail.

What an incredible shoot we had with Mary-Ann at the weekend! From the minute we got there it was very welcoming. Straight away she made my 4 year old feel very comfortable and got them both some toys to play with to help distract them while photographing them on their own. She was extremely patient with my one year old who lost interest and just wanted to crawl away, but she still got some amazing pictures!!
The photos are incredible, we got the gallery of photos less than a week after the shoot too which is amazing! The prices for the images make it so affordable for families who want to do a shoot like this but can't afford to pay out £200+ for photos!

I highly recommend her.
She was very kind and welcoming and she was amazing with my 3 month old!
We got some lovely high quality photos
which gave me a tear as they are so beautiful.
They were all done within a couple of days,
super quick!
For the high quality photos I received it was very good value for money.
The studio was in her lovely house and the studio itself was really nicely presented.
You can see the love she has doing photography. She’s so good at what she does!

Captured by Carter produced some amazing quality, natural photos of my two little girls for mothers day presents.
The cost was within my price range as a single mother which previously I could not justify but Captured by Carter is extremely reasonable for the time, effort & quality produced.
The photos will be something we treasure forever.
On the day the studio was warm,welcoming and homely which made both my children feel at ease and parking was easy too.The whole process has been stress free and a real positive experience which we all really enjoyed making memories together.
The photographer was so kind with the children and calmed the baby down when she became slightly tired which was so reassuring as she is a mother too which I think helped as she was helpful and empathetic. The photographer is not pushy for you to buy and you do not feel any pressure which makes me want to return to the studio for more photos in the future when my baby can sit up.
If you are looking for family or newborn photos I would definitely recommend.

Being a mum herself is evident as
she’s so good at keeping the little ones entertained and settled during the shoot (especially as my daughter cry’s a lot) she managed to calm her numerous times and got so many amazing shots!
The photos are so natural and she really captured the precious moments and the studio had plenty of props to work with.
I was told 1-2 weeks to receive my photos which I was fine with but I got them 2 days later! Such a nice morning surprise. Prices are so cheap compared to anyone else too which was a relief as I couldn’t choose which photo
as they’re all so lovely.
10/10 service most definitely returning.

Mary-Ann was so lovely from the start.
My daughter Faye was really quite unsure about everything at the beginning and quite upset, but Mary-Ann was patient with us both, and armed with a very important unicorn bubble gun & managed to get Faye to calm down and got her smiling.
Her studio is in her lovely home, feels welcoming and warm, and the images have come out great.
She's definitely worth the money and not only knows what she's doing, but delivers quickly as well. I had a sneak peek video within 24 hours and the full gallery to choose from within a week. Communication was excellent throughout.
I would definitely recommend Mary-Ann

We had an amazing shoot over the weekend for my 5 month old. Mary-Ann was so kind and welcoming, which clearly helped our little one settle in a new environment.
Mary-Ann had a few props and ideas ready in preparation for us when we arrived.
After the shoot, we were sent a beautiful video of the some of the photos taken, this was shared on social media with a stunning song playing with it.
We had the shoot on Saturday afternoon and recieved the video clip on Monday morning by later Monday evening, we had a link to our online gallery.
The photos are all stunning and chosing which ones to purchase was difficult especially with the prices so reasonable. Without these prices we wouldn't have been able to recieve these photos as we were out priced by other companies. The price however does not reflect on the quality or professionalism of Captured by Carter.
I highly recommend this service and have already told my other mummy friends.

Definitely one of the best photoshoots i’ve been to.
My son was just instantly comfortable with
Mary-Ann which made the results even more beautiful. She was able to capture a lot of nice moments with my son that I would not have been able to do myself.
The studio was nice and cosy and
we didn’t feel rushed at all.
She was so patient with us and
she just let us have fun.
I ended up buying all of my photos because I simply could not resist. She even made sure the shots were ready on my son’s birthday which was not even 3 whole days from when we shot them.
Can’t wait for another photoshoot.

Just received my photos from my 6 months old first ever photo shoot, Mary-Ann done an amazing job making him feel Comfortable and happy whilst photographing him, very accommodating to mine and his needs, beautiful little studio space, everything you need in there to get baby changed. Has her own vision for pictures but also lets you capture your vision.
I honestly could not be happier with the service from start to finish. Great value for money, great customer service, nice friendly atmosphere, picture quality is amazing.

We had a fabulous experience with Captured by Carter a couple of days ago and have already received the images… which are just WOW! ❤️
My daughter (2) is so full of character and gets bored easily. Maryann made sure she was fun, engaging whilst providing direction to get those beautiful shots. She communicated so well with what her vision was and managed to achieve exactly that. The set-up is stunning, warm and welcoming but more importantly the image quality is second to none but the price tag is minimal.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Captured by Carter (and I work with a lot of photographers in my trade).
