Where is the studio located?
The Captured by Carter studio is nestled in Baldock, Hertfordshire, a calm and welcoming space based at my home. Free on-street parking is available just outside. Conveniently located just minutes from the A1(M), the studio is easily accessible from nearby towns including St. Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston, Biggleswade, Cambridge, and surrounding villages.
how should we prepare for our session?
To make sure your little shining stars shine their brightest during a shoot it is best to make sure they have been fed and napped before the shoot.
What Should we Bring?
Yourself, your little one and lots of smiles! Just your usual items you'd take on any outings such as a change bag, dummy, favourite toy, bottle of milk...
What should we wear?
You and your little one should be the stars of your Shoot! Therefore, white outfits without any text or logos or patterns are best as this will allow for a timeless look whilst keeping the focus on you and your little star, where it should be! Should you like, you can have access to the studio wardrobe which includes outfits up to 5 years of age, please let me know before the shoot if you wish to take advantage of this.
what happens after the shoot?
Once your session is complete, I begin the editing process, carefully refining each image in line with the Captured by Carter aesthetic. You’ll receive a private, password-protected gallery link via email once your images are ready to view.
Do offer weekend sessions?
Yes - sessions are available Monday through Saturday, subject to availability. Please enquire early to secure your preferred date.
